Jiangsu Dewei Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the company”), established in 1995, is a high and new technology enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, and marketing of high polymer materials. Also it is an innovation pioneer cultivation enterprise in Suzhou. The company mainly produces polymer functional plastic materials such as PVC, PE, TPE, etc. The company focuses on developing the products which can be divided into six categories: PE Cross Linkable compound, Auto Wire Compound, UL Standard Compound, Elastomeric Sheath Compound, totally covering over 100 varieties. The company has made a significant breakthrough in the R&D and production of the raw material of auto wire. Since its establishment, the company pours 4% of its sales income each year both in high technology and new products development. During 2012, the sales income was 794.2 million and the R&D cost was 31.44 million which accounted for 4% of the revenue. In 2012, the total number of the employees was 218 among which 52 people were engaged in R&D. They accounted for 24% of the total number. Now, the company has established Suzhou Wire and Cable Polymer R&D Center whose area is 3,450 square meters. Furthermore, it is equipped with fairly sophisticated experiment facilities and test instruments. Currently the company has passed ISO9002, TS16949 management system certification, ISO1400 environment system certification. During 2013, the company has developed nine projects including Super-smooth Semi-conductive Shield Compound (instead of import products), Flame Retardant High-temperature Auto Wire Insulation Compound, Flame Retardant Silane Cross Linkable PE Insulation Compound, etc. And the company continues to research and develop five unfinished projects set up in 2005. Based on the technology results achieved in earlier stage, the company's innovative products all have technology content. Among them, the special cable material is a national key public relations project. And vehicles irradiation cross linkable material can renovate super grids mainly for light rail, nuclear large ships, aviation, aerospace, etc. If they become industrialization, they will replace the import products. So the company’s flagship products have a stronger competitiveness.
